the guys mentioned it was getting out of hand and was putting a lot of pressure on their friendship, which caused a massive divide between shippers and anti-shippers, mainly resulting in the antis waging a fuckin war on shippers and basically forcing the septiplier fandom to implode. Some people moved on from it just to get away from the drama, I think.. others were pushed out because they were made to feel like they were shitty people for shipping it, even if they weren’t the ones causing trouble in the first place. It’s a mess.. seems to me that anyone whose still left shipping it have all been doing so very very quietly now.
